When it comes to teaching kids about hydration, you have to make it memorable.

That’s why at Texas Children’s Hospital, Director of Sports Nutrition Roberta Anding teaches young athletes to check the color of their urine to see if they are hydrated or not.

Simply put, if it looks like apple juice, you are dehydrated. If it looks like lemonade, you are probably perfectly hydrated.
